No doubt, HG. Glad I left Logansport when I did.

They asked River Oaks to evacuate - Deborah drive by the apartments is sunk.

The road in front of the MAC is sunk.

Have pic when I tried to get out - will post later.

No - just North of CTL on 165 - by Cordill Propane and Bayou Butts and Booze - all that section of 165 is UNDER water.

I barely made it through in a stock F150.

Holy shite, I have some buddies that live down that road and right by the MAC. I have texted a few of them and they were ok earlier but haven't heard this evening. Prayers up for all in Mecca at the moment.

It is the Cuba / Chauvin intersection back north to the Mac gate

River landing was dry...imagine that. 1991 was opposite - everything coming from river.

The ole lady has to drive from Baton Rouge to Houston tomorrow morning. Is there a safe route? I'm assuming the flooding is well north of I-10 and the rain will begin to clear tomorrow.

Grandma lives off Oliver in the area. Her house had over a foot of water all throughout.

The rain isn't going to die down any time soon, but the I10 corridor hasn't seen much rain at all. She ought to be fine.

Thanks.

Looks like much of NWLA was in the 200+ year event stage for 24-hour totals if you back up the range 6 hours or so.

There are cops closing off the roads there. People are being rescued in boats. It's probably undriveable off of Deborah unless you have a lifted truck.
