Yes. It looks like Cenla will get its share still, but North La needs a break

Pineville... been all light stuff to just about 20 minutes ago... first good thunderstorm has finally arrived and now under a flash flood warning

ETA: just saying the storms have arrived in CenLA... not at all making light of anyone's situation... this is truly a catastrophe

like I said... it's all been light up to about 45 minutes ago... looks like the front has moved enough to start forming the rain over us now

Yes. There and south Monroe are worst areas... But really it's bad throughout the whole parish. I'm in west Monroe and every possible road I could take to get anywhere is flooded... Stranded cars are everywhere-police are having to go around and check to see if people are inside of them, call tow trucks, etc... And there are several areas that the police and emergency personnel cannot even get to right now

looks like the flash flood warning for Pineville was just extended to 4:30 AM

ETA: this new warning covers parts of Vernon and Rapides Parishes

I RA'd for a sticky several hours ago, and still nothing, Maybe the one for S. LA will get a sticky when it starts to rain there.

Yall's cops don't have duece and a half or 5 ton trucks? Pretty much every department in Southeastern LA has 2 at the least.

It's pretty bad from what I hear. I live in the garden district and its fubar. Cops are hitting the road and making people go home.

Depends on what part north of Forsythe. Around Eskimos on the north side was ugly earlierer. Behind Trios was fine where I drove through. Lexington area was impassable.

Well I'm sure they have a couple, but not nearly enough to handle this many people. They are having to take little boats in to a lot of these neighborhoods and bring them out a couple at a time. And not surprisingly, they only have a few of the boats. Listening to the police dispatch, it sounds like a total cluster frick.

ETA: I've heard a couple of calls dispatched to apts and homes with 7, 9 and 12 kids in them, so it's no wonder it takes such a long time.
