re: Major incident at Target in Hammond

Meaning someone made a threat to detonate a bomb, or a suspicious package is present? Important distinction.

That evil Target

It’s probably a gang shooting.

I work at the Allstate next to Golden Corral and whatever happened, first responders were booking it that way.

I’ve seen state troopers and tangi deputies pass the office, so multiple agencies definitely involved.

I’m getting word that it’s an active shooter

You mustn’t have spent a lot of time in Hammond. Hammond is one of if not THE most inaccurately represented cities on this board.

I’ve lived in Hammond/Ponchatoula since 1980, and it is a fine place to live. Surely it has its bad spots as do all cities. But what does one random incident have to do with Hammond in general? Could happen anywhere.

A family member attends Southeastern and I've visited her on campus several times. Hammond seems like a pretty cool place to me. I've shopped at the Target location and certainly hope nothing terrible has happened.
