How was his words twisted.

Maybe he should be more direct in what he means instead of posting broad general statements.

The pictures make it look like a casino without all of the oxygen tanks and sadness.

I imagine Main Event would pick up it's crowd at 7PM or later, usually by then traffic in BR is manageable no matter where it's at. Saturday afternoons during shopping season, on the other hand...

Wow...I went to one of those places in Dallas and it was legit...

That could really hurt the Malco in Gonzales if it can poach a lot of the Prarieville customers.

i've seen it at times when i'd agree with you but i'm thinking it's because they've priced themselves so high

We buy season passes each summer for me and gf and four kids. I wonder how the hell 30% of the families we see there can afford to come on any given weekend.

What an outstanding institution... if only we had more Blue Bayou's.

You're hating on a massive tax base and the biggest attraction baton rouge has outside of LSU ?

Isn't D&B adults only? It may be a dumb question, but its been a few years since I've gone to one and I cant remember.

Main Event is not. We recently had a 10-year old's birthday at the one in North Austin. If this ME is anything like the one I just went to, expect a ton of kids running around like mad people, a lot smaller arcade selection than D&B, and no running in the laser tag arena. Positives is that they had a ton of bowling lanes, the bar & pool table area was nice, they had a nice & fairly tall rock climbing wall and I actually enjoyed the pizza.

Austin is only place with the rockwall. I hope we get them gravity ropes things. My son loved that at LuLus in errnge beach.

Pool/skeeball/bowling will be fun to do for me and gf while having beers and kids do their thing.

You can Walk your arse across Wards Creek and use that driving range while the kids play.

Yes. I am saying the Main Event in Austin is the only location with a rockwall. You can click on activities and it shows locations that have them. For example, bowling is all locations, miniture golf is not.

Main Event Entertainment has signed a lease to build a nearly 50,000-square-foot family entertainment center with a bowling alley, laser tag arena and restaurants at the site of the old Tinseltown movie theater off Siegen Lane.

The entertainment center is set to open in 2017, said officials with Dallas-based Main Event and Olshan Properties in New York, which owns Siegen Lane Marketplace. This will be the first Main Event location in Louisiana. The company operates 24 family centers in cities such as Atlanta; Oklahoma City; Austin, Texas; and Memphis, Tennessee. There are plans to open three more centers by June, including locations in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Louisville, Kentucky.
