I was the foreman on a somewhat high profile rape case in Georgia involving 2 people from John Foy law firm.

Please start a separate thread on this with details.

but there are some cases where the juice is worth the squeeze, so to say. I haven't seen pictures of this chick so I don't know if it applies here, but let's not paint with a broad brush.

in threads about a deceased local girl, ya'll are some stupid arse mother frickers constantly making dense arse uncalled for comments on this board which are always tolerated.

I’m still convinced there’s actually video of the sex. There ain’t no way on earth these boys filmed before AND after but not during.

If there is video of the act, that video will make or break the case.

There have always been some jackasses on TD, but I never thought I'd see so many overtly sick men speaking out on behalf of rapists and their animalistic behavior.

That is the pivotal issue. Whatever, her past actions were they are irrelevant.

I get what you are saying, but past actions are often relevant to members of the jury if allowed in court. Not saying they should be, but you can't control the thoughts and opinions of those who might be on the jury.

Well that tells me if this was a rape, these guys would've taken a plea. A video of a rape is indefensible. Why are they not taking a plea?

I don't think there is complete video of the incident. A picture alone or short video clip could have gotten him that charge.

It was a rape. She could not consent.l, at minimum. I don't know why you idiots can't comprehend that.

this, jury is comprised of humans, the yutes are definitely tPOS but I think her lifestyle, particularly on the 24-36 hours prior are relevant to this case, given the “evidence” we’ve seen so far

How come it’s okay to call these guys rapists and POS and drag their names through the mud even though haven’t been convicted of anything but no one can say a bad word about Madison?

I agree in principle but don’t take all of the nonsense that you read on here as legit public opinion

casen carver said in his statement they had to ask her several times to consent to sex bc of her level of her intoxication. think about all aspects of needing to ask a drunk girl several times to have sex.

Thats literally the end of the story when it comes to whether it was rape or not. It shouldnt be such an issue on this website that if you have to ask a woman multiple times if she consents because she's so drunk that its rape. Holy shite some of yall are unreal.

Another way to look at it is rapist aren’t usually very keen on asking for consent….

The asking for consent doesn’t really help the prosecution at all

This is the key piece

“She was drunk, like drunk drunk”

That is Carver saying he was of sound mind enough to notice her level of intoxication was very high.

That’s the most important weapon the prosecution has

yep, I mentioned earlier that I was on a jury for a sexual abuse trial last year and we had a pretty decent cross section representation of “peers,” I was very impressed at how conscientious everyone was about the importance of the situation and power that they were entrusted with
