Mutual affirmative consent is taught in every training they have to take in high school and college.

I realize the nature of this case makes it hard to people to want to consider what you point out, but I think it is important to reflect on.
I'm also interested in what level of liability Reggie's will shoulder. I realize that in a lot of situations places of businesses aren't responsible for acts like these when an underage person was intoxicated since they couldn't know the age of the person involved.
The kicker for Reggie's is that she worked for them for a month in 2022. Given that fact, did they know what her age was or should they have known what her age was? Maybe not based on who was working, but I assume it will come up.
If I owned Reggie's I'd probably be digging up my prepared bankruptcy papers

Now you're talking about some arbitrary subjective opinion of what a crime is and what it's not.
I can't get behind that a crime has to be legally defined. If the two somewhat drunk ugly people were above the legal BAC then you have rape....it has to be that way for there to be any rape due to consent while drunk.

People were upset originally that Reggie’s was forced to shut down & was targeted by LSU’s administration, but they are absolutely culpable as well
