How do you shave your balls?
Never again, for me. Maybe the teeth on my trimmer are a bit more "aggressive" than most, but they caught my sack one time and left a perfectly straight, evenly-space row of blood spots.
Disposable razor is safer and does a better job anyway.

No, it’s literally a commercial. What you choose to do with the commercial is on you.
Some choose to get triggered and some don’t.

I'll also add that shaving has become an "enjoyable" experience to me. There's something very relaxing about the feeling and sound that shaving with a safety razor provides. Hard to explain. Perhaps someone else can elaborate or tell me I'm crazy.
I’m rocking a beard now so it’s been a while, but I actually agree with this and have the same experience. For me it has something to do with the process and getting it as smooth as possible.

I finally found a safety razor with just enough toxic masculinity to make me pull the trigger and take the plunge. The BamBaw
Never tried that. I have the Merkur DE razor. Got a 100 pack of Persona blades for like $11 or so...great blades and that pack will last almost 2 years.
Now imagine the price difference in $11 for 2 years versus the mach 3's and all those types.

Over the years I've probably shaved with just about every type tool/device you could use to complete the job. I've used the cheap BIC shavers, multiple razor types, a couple different electric razors, an old style straight razor and the not quite as old style safety razor.
I've stuck with the Safety Razor the longest and it is my go-to shaver when needed. In a prior post I mentioned I use a Merkur safety razor with Feather Blades and that works great for my shaving needs.
For about a year I used an old style straight razor after a friend of mine gave me 3 of them he had lying around and after sharpening them, they worked great, but they are not for the nervous or faint of heart as it doesn't take much to turn a shave into a potential bloodbath. The first time I shaved with one I had a mustache for several years and decided to shave it off. Little did I know that I had a small mole under all that hair and I shaved it off clean with the first downstroke. Bastard bled for a good 30 minutes before I got it to stop.

If you ever find the Feathers to be a bit rough, give Astra Superior Platinum a try. Almost as sharp but I find them to be smoother on my face. Plus, they’re dirt cheap.
I was just about to recommend the Astras

Anybody that uses the term "setup" for shaving their face probably needs to invest in a "setup" for yeast infections

Are safety reasons easier or harder on skin? I get horrible razor burn and razor bumps on my neck when I shave no matter what products I've tried.

I don't want to seem like I'm at all in support of you snowflakes melting over anyone suggesting that maybe men can do some things better than they have in the past - because I'm not - but I've been using safety razors for a while. I actually bought an old straight razor on a whim a few years ago. I keep a beard and only shave my neck, and I have pretty coarse hair. The straight razor was just too difficult to deal with. I think it really needs to be sharpened and I just never got around to it.
Anyway, I later decided to try a safety razor. I bought a "Godfather" from Vikings Blade, and enough Astra blades to probably last the rest of my life for like $12 or something. I like it.
I've tried a few different shaving soaps, and what I've learned is it's fricking soap. It makes bubbles and you shave with it. Shaving soap reviews online read like reviews on fine wine. It's stupid. Find one that you like the smell of, or lack of smell, or whatever, and shave with it. That's all there is to it. I recently got some of the cheap Colonel Conk glycerin soap and it works fine and is half the price of some of the other stuff.

Interesting. Just went to Harry’s and like it a lot. But this is the kind of razor that I learned to shave with. Only cooler looking. I always hated over priced Gillette.

The short answer is that it’s easier on your skin, but it’s really about control. Modern razors have recessed blades, so the way they work is that each blade is designed to pull on the hair so the next can cut closer. That process can be extremely irritating, especially on the neck.
With a double edged safety, there is no pulling, assuming you are keeping a proper angle, which is fairly easy. Cartridge razors used the chew up my neck. Now I can shave it every day and have zero razor burn.
My setup (said just to annoy a previous poster) is a Merkur 34C HD, either Feather or Indian yellow box Gillette 7o’clock blades, Taylor of Old Bond St cream, and a large knot Olde Apothecary Shop badger hair brush.

That Astra is one of my favorite blades along with Dorco. Both are tremendous values as well. Kai blades are even more sharp than feather.
I have a Semogue 620 brush which is a must have brush kind of like the Edwin Jagger DE 89 is a must have razor.
I use Proraso red, but love RazoRock Don Marco cream.

I would suggest a better choice. My choice is DOVO Straight, because I have it and it's good razor. I leave the link to the razor guide DOVO Straight Razor which influenced my choice here: LINK

Oddly admirable that you registered an account just to post this. Or else you're a bot. Or being paid. Hmmm...

I switched 5 years ago and I've never looked back. A better shave for cheaper with little to no irritation or ingrown hairs? It's a no brainer!
