Screw the neighbors. If you are up at 7, mow it and be done before the thermometer hits 90.

I bet you’re a joy to live near. I’m sure all the neighbors speak well of you.

Why don’t you just hire people like 98% of the OT does and not have to worry about your lawn looking like a New Iberia haircut?

I don't like wasting money. Unless someone has acres to cut, it is laziness to hire someone.

It's well worth it to me to pay people to mow, edge etc... I have other things to do.

You don't need to start at 7am to finish by noon.

Okay, you do you. Most people take pride in doing their yards. I guess I was raised differently...

Bout 3 passes before finishing the backyard a downpour hits. Now the front yard still hasnt been mowed

I did over half of my yard in a bad rain a couple of weeks ago and it was still fine. As long as you aren't out there in lightning, you're ok. I didn't do the edging and trim though.

Nah, doesn’t rain quite as early up here as it does in south La closer to the coast.

Shame there was no weather report prior to 7 A.M. when you were up doing nothing... or the ability to look at the sky

My yard guy takes pride in the way he does my yard and so do I.
I take pride in other things I do. I despise yard work. Some folks enjoy it. You do you too.

He takes pride in taking your money. No worries, I like spending my money on better things. At the end of the day, as long as it gets done is all that matters.

That’s why you buy a home facing West. Start in the shade and finish in the shade.

Mowing is like wiping: front to back.

I love throwing my ear buds in and mowing my place after a long day at work. Like others have stated. It's very therapeutic.
