When you are asking for money, but can't answer the question?
When you don't do your homework.
When you don't do your homework.

In 2010 the baseline was 400ppm, now it’s 420ppm. That seems like a pretty significant increase to me.
We know there have been periods when the readings were about 8000ppm (yes that is 8K) and during those periods there was an abundance of plant life ... according to scientists, at about 150 to 180ppm the plant life on our planet dies off in its entirety...

My bad. Double dipped today with Taco Bell for lunch, then left over red beans for dinner

Best to keep the discussion to temperature, which is easily measurable and observable. There is no reasonable way for a reasonable person to disagree that average worldwide temps are on the rise.

Is that honestly a bad thing?

Does that mean I'll have to mow my grass 5 times per week next summer?

1) how long have humans tracked temperature relative to the age of the earth?
2) is there any evidence that humans play any meaningful role in the increase or decrease of the Earths temp, or are we simply along for the ride?

Is this the thread where we decide that climate change isn't real or the thread that says climate change is real but there's nothing we can do about it?

It is accepted that human’s are contributing to the CO2 level increase. What percentage of that increase is due to humans is not actually known, though there are lots of opinions.
Brother that’s exactly what I said… than man is contributing to CO2 increase in the atmosphere. Someone smarter than me can work out the mass balance on organic material removed from deep in the earth core (and out of the pre-man CO2 cycle) and burned and figure the amount of CO2 contributed by the 7 billion folks on Earth.
You’d be foolish to not acknowledge that we are contributed something.

Go educate yourself on historic co2 levels and come get back to us.

Do you know how much CO2 (and other things) a single volcano puts in the air?

According to the paper, five recent studies suggest that volcanoes worldwide (such as Alaska's Shishaldin, shown) emit, on average, between 130 million and 440 million metric tons of CO2 each year. But in 2010, anthropogenic emissions of the planet-warming gas were estimated to be a whopping 35 billion metric tons. Individual events—such as Mount Pinatubo, whose major eruption in 1991 lasted about 9 hours—can produce CO 2 at the same rate that humans do, but they do so only for short periods of time. It would take more than 700 Mount Pinatubo-sized eruptions over the course of a year to emit as much carbon dioxide as people do, the study notes.

People still believe in this hoax? And our sea levels have been rising forever too.

CO2 is good for plants. I thought these hippies liked plants?
