I don't know why anyone would ever want to be in sales for a living. I would hate pandering shite all day long.

Doesn't make it wrong.

Shut door, eat my meal and watch youtube videos for 25 minutes, nap for 25 minutes, meditate for 10 minutes.

Playing on TD is productive. Gossiping is not

The thing you need to be asking yourself is why only those on YOUR team do this and what exactly it is they're saying about you in there. It's probably that sassy black guy organizing a takeover of your territory.

This is serious business, and I personally would stress over it until I'd uncovered the plot.

We people come in with broad statements like that, you're implying that since you like or dislike something, everyone does.

It's a very close minded point of view to have.

I don't enjoy A so there is no possible way I could understand someone else liking it.

Outside of hopping on TD, I play my Nintendo Switch while eating lunch at my desk. Still trying to get all those damn moons in Mario Odyssey.

What happens if you don't take lunch? Can you leave early or is that not an option

Why would you ever choose option 1? Complete waste of time in my opinion

You mean why would you ever seek to develop and maintain relationships and build a culture of collegiality in a workplace unit over seeking to immediately remove yourself from any interaction with people you spend 1/3 of your waking life with for years on end?

I dunno...

Perhaps they live too far from work to be worthwhile. I mean if they have a 45 minute commute home, do you really blame them for bringing their lunch (saves money to boot) and socializing with others away from their desks? Seems a very odd thing to be miffed about.

Me personally, I'm very fortunate to live extremely close to work so I go home, make lunch there, watch about 30 minutes of tv, then head back.

I live 5 minutes walking from the office to the house. I either eat out or go home.

Meh, doesn't apply to me. I'm a field rep so a I'm usually traveling and taking people to lunch.

I hate eating out. It's so lame and I usually take people to lunch four or five times a week. I find the smallest thing on the menu and drink water. It's amazing watching how much people will eat.
