While I don't condone what this man allegedly did (if it does end up being him), I'm not shedding a tear for the UnitedHealth CEO either. How many denials were used for him to get more money for expensive, houses, vacations, luxury items, etc.
I'm not against people being rich and making a lot of money. I am against it when it's on the backs of other people's misery and suffering.
Disagree with me all you want. Again I don't defend the guy who killed the CEO, but I'm not crying for the CEO either.

Came here to say exactly that. I have seen all the pics and the wanted poster. If I am sitting at a McDonald's in Houma and I see this cat sitting down eating, I don't think I would have even given him a second look much less call the cops on him. Hell I could have interviewed him for a job and not recognized him from the pics I have seen.

Then again, if I am at the McDonalds in Houma (I picture Altoona the same place without tunnels and a road to Dulac) and I am thumbing thru my phone and notice the amount of my direct deposited check, and a few seconds later I come across his photo and mention of a reward and the number to call is right there and its either click on the number or go explain to drive-thru the shake machine is indeed still down.....

Andrew Witty made $23.50 million last year. Heck take $10 million off of that, how many claims could've been approved? How many lives could have been saved? And Andrew would've still had a lifestyle most of us could only dream of. No Healthcare CEO has any business making anywhere near $23.50 million, especially off the suffering and misery of others. It shouldn't be just about money and profit da*mnit. You can still make a profit while doing what's right and providing treatment.
I'm not condoning it. The shooter needs to face justice and consequences for his actions. I never cheered for the shooter to get away.
The shooter is a scumbag, I agree with that. But Andrew Witty and every Healthcare CEO are also scumbags. So like I said, not shedding a tear for Andrew Witty.
