What kind of Lucchese Cowboy Boots do you have

Had. Black Alligator, but they were a half size to small so I gave them to my old man, who would never have spent that much on footwear.

I have a pair of brown smooth quill and a pair of cognac (brown) ropers. Some of the most comfortable footwear in my closet. Catch them on sale.

Unless you have a particular reason you want to go with Lucchese, I would steer clear. The quality they have been known for in the past has really gone down hill, especially with the more costly exotic/dressy options.

I would agree with this...I have some Lucchese that are 10-15 years old that are exponentially more comfortable than a few pair I've purchased in the last couple years.

I have a pair of Rod Patrick...got them at the HLSR a few years ago...chocolate bison in an R toe...really like them.

ML Leddy, JB Hill, hell I've got a pair of Tecovas that I find more comfortable than Lucchese.

I have a Caiman back pair or horned or whatever

A pair of ostrich and a pair of bullhide from the shoulder. I wear the bull hide almost daily. Most comfortable footwear I own.

Are they ropers? What size do you wear and what kind of socks with them? Do you wear bootcut jeans?

I've got some caimans. One is a darker brown and the other one is a lighter color. Pretty comfortable

If you want more comfort, I would suggest looking at some ropers

Round toe doesn't go out

I've wanted the Tanners for a couple years but have held off paying 800 bucks for non-exotic ropers. I've got a couple Lucchese Classics I don't wear much so hard to justify, but I'll get around to it.

I have a pair of brown elephant size 13. Extremely comfortable for me, having narrow feet and flat arches, but YMMV.

I hope it goes without saying but you’ve got to just try on different ones and see what feels right to you. If there’s a Cavenders near you, I liked them.
