Will this effect LSU sports in any way? That's the only thing I care about.

90% will be liberal arts students who are pissed that the school might cut their "Medieval sign language" classes.

Money allocated to higher education is a much better investment in the state than slightly lower taxes.

BJ has always said that he plans to keep the "best and brightest" in Louisiana...BS

The whole school's reputation will be badly hurt by this. Don't only lookout for yourself and your college (business or engineering I'm guessing). It's not all about you, bud.

You're right. if a 10% reduction in your operating budget results in your business "collapsing", LSU's administration should be embarrassed and have its reputation tarnished.

Environmental Science, also didn't go to LSU.

I agree, but to say that an art degree is just as important as engineering or science degree is absurd. You want to know why many graduates are having trouble paying back $100,000 in student loans? Because majoring in finger painting doesn't pay the bills.

Hopefully many appropriate LSU co-eds will use this time to also get onto the freethenipple bandwagon.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Glad to see students using dead week (concentrated study period the week before finals) for this nonsense. We all know who will be the ones showing up. Hint, it won't be the students who take classes that require preparation for final exams or group projects.

During the legislative session, the Capitol is covered with state troopers. I would hope the students and alumni would peacefully assemble on the steps and not try something stupid like occupy the building. I could see some students doing things to get arrested on purpose to be a "martyr" for LSU.
