Is the electric wire aka noose + racial slur on her apartment door decoration (which the OT proved she did herself) girl involved in this "organization"...?

I'm sorry but no one should be immortalized or revered after participating in that terrible event. I'm a proud LSU alum and fervent supporter of the university and absolutely support removing Parker's name
"Who killa da chief?" My grandmother would tell me this story when I was little. I read a book about it as an adult. As Hennessy lay in the street dying, one of his asst. chiefs asked him, "Who did this, Dave?" Supposedly, Hennessy answered, "Dagos".
So they got a mob together and lynched 11 people, not all Sicilians either as I recall.

She's an Alpha Kappa Alpha (black sorority), which may not directly be involved, but there's a very good chance many of their members are. They're very proud of being black and want to make sure you know it.
There's nothing wrong with being proud of your accomplishments, but thinking your shite doesn't stink because you're a black female and not because of your academic achievements and character is what bothers me with AKA. Many of them judge people off of race and then character/merit rather than just character/merit.

Their aim is to have LSU better reflect the diverse student population.
that doesn't look like a very diverse group....methinks they may be a bit self-serving.

Murphy J. Foster and John Parker weren’t Confederates but they weren’t the most savory of individuals and certainly not worthy of such high profile recognition on the LSU campus,
quote:
In 1922, Governor Parker sent the Federal Bureau of Investigation a message begging for help in fighting the Ku Klux Klan, which had grown so powerful in Louisiana that it not only controlled the northern half of the state but had kidnapped, tortured, and killed two people who opposed it.
in 1922, the above act alone makes Parker a progressive
ETA: I'd also like to point out that neither of these governors were half as corrupt at Huey P Long, and his name is literally everywhere on campus.

Time to counter protest. Just call them what they are:
Losers with self-entitlement issues that have never done anything of merit and shouldn't be listened to. And tell them they can take their tuition money elsewhere or better yet just drop out because we all know the taxpayer won't be getting that student loan money back.
Millennials. The Worst Generation.

You are completely right.
Every single person from age 18-35 right now is a raging non binary, liberal pussy. This is definitely NOT just a minority.
Let's hope they keep working though or your Social security won't be funded.
Open your eyes gramps. There's plenty of us youngsters who hate this bullshite as much as you do.

Every building should be given a name such as "Multi-purpose building 3."
Name anything after a person and eventually that person can fall out of favor.
Name the buildings in this format:
LSU Engineering Building Number One, Number Two, Number Three, etc.
Here’s Peking University Third Hospital
Since 1958 there have been big changes in PC in China but they haven’t had to rename PUTH.
