I believe LSU has more Asians on campus than African American students which combined is still less than 5%

Tell these people to pony up some serious donation money and they can name these buildings whatever they want.

They need to sell building and street names for cash. We know lsu needs the money:

-coca cola Hall
-Exxon street
-Pennington buomedical sciences building
Etc.

This is exactly what they did for the new business and engineering buildings. Need to just continue it.

"better reflect the diverse student population" translates to "only reflect the diverse student population"

Yes but I am protesting by continuing to refer to it as Nicholson Extension in perpetuity. Even when people no longer know what I am talking about.

I feel that way about CEBA.

I love how pissed people get over the name of a building. This goes for both sides.

What type of spineless administrators would give in to this infinitesimal group of fringe morons?

Parker was Louisiana governor from 1920 to 1924. He participated in and refused to apologize for the 1891 lynching of 11 Sicilian immigrants accused of involvement in the murder of New Orleans Police Chief David C. Hennessy.

I'm sorry but no one should be immortalized or revered after participating in that terrible event. I'm a proud LSU alum and fervent supporter of the university and absolutely support removing Parker's name

Name the building after a WWII war hero and be done with it.
