As an LSU alumn transplant I can attest that people (in the Chicagoland area at least) love my LSU degree. Every interview I’ve gone too since graduation we’ve had an extended conversation regarding LSU, landed me a great job as well (not OT baller status yet but well on my way).

Did they give any indication as to why the LSU degree impresses them so much? Legitimately curious because that’s awesome to hear.

It’s because of all the professional degree programs LSU has

I would think it depends on your degree. For instance, the LSU Landscape Architecture program was ranked #1 a few years back. I would think if that is your career and you graduated from LSU, yea they like you.
I don't see a degree in african american studies and women's studies going very well though.

Shaq skewed the numbers when his income was added.

Could have been top 5 if they polled me.

The Washington Monthly 2018 College Guide and Rankings come just days after LSU was recognized in Forbes America’s Top Colleges rankings. According to Forbes, LSU is the highest ranked public university in Louisiana. In addition, Forbes has placed LSU 59th overall among public universities nationwide, and fifth among public universities in the Southeastern Conference.
