Problem wasn’t the Greeks drinking within the rules, it was the gaggle d assholes having an illegal “bible study” in their alcohol free housing.

No wonder they don’t take your arse seriously.

One drinking death due to hazing in 100+ years. This isn't some rampant shite.

Aren't they already on 'double secret' probation?

Ahh yes, let's keep treating 18-21 year olds like they are 10. That should do wonders for the university.

He pisses me off. I wish the alumni/booster base would raise hell and shut him down.

Ah group punishment. Always the most effective way to fix a problem.

Why punish the idiots who fricked up when you can punish everyone!

Alcohol related, but not hazing related.

Talking about fraternities on a college board and you've never seen Animal House?

yea...if you tell them they can't drink alcohol, that problem will be gone forever....just like requiring people to be 21 to purchase alcohol has totally eliminated under aged drinking in the US

Seriously, what do you expect them to do? Someone died. They have to do something.. Even if it is for show.. Did anyone not expect something like this to happen?

Again, someone died. It became a nationwide story that was reported on the world news. Do you think the university is just going to ignore what happened especially after they lifted the ban, then received complaints. You think LSU wants to do nothing and have those complaints go over them and then all of a sudden you have "LSU doesn't take drinking on campus serious after death of student?".

Stop looking at it like an immature jackass and realize what is going on.

Yeah, because why bother sending a message after a fraternity made a pledge drink so much he died.
Good question. Nothing should have been done at all.

This is so unbelievably stupid. Alexander is going to hurt the school when kids choose competing southern schools who support Greek life like Ole Miss and Alabama over LSU. Need to send an influx of emails to someone threatening to stop donations then maybe they'll reconsider such a shortsighted policy. Then again, maybe not because Alexander continues to prove how much of an idiot he is

Or maybe you need to turn 40 and realize just what you posted was fricking stupid.

They didn't "make" him drink. He chose to drink to try and be accepted.
