Oh no! Poor baw will have to live in his own house on acreage and drive a f250 instead of working at enterprise and living in an apartment and driving a Prius

Good to see a scheduling thread around here. Feels like we’re back in 2010. We don’t have college students anymore.
except now parents are doing the students bidding

Sad state of affairs

Why is daddy coming on TD trying to figure out his adult son’s college class issues?

I know this is hard to swallow but....

You aren't talking about your baby boy.

This is a grown arse 20 year old man. At 20, my parents took 2 years after to figure out I swapped my major, was working full time, and didn't have access to my LSU.edu account because they weren't paying my bills.

Time for little Johnny to dig ditches for a year and figure out if being a shite head is worth it.

I share OP's confusion. Even if you have a 4.0 and the right prereqs, the system will block you from signing up for the classes you need just because you didn't follow some "hurry up" rule?

That's frickin' retarded.

Pretty sure OP is a female. So even worse, mommy is trying to figure out her adult son’s issues

The number of classes I dropped after I started paying was close to zero.

I'm gonna need an update on how this all went down. OP got some good, hard hitting answers from the OT, and berrycajun Jr. must be getting an earful.

Subtle way of telling us your kid is a dud.

Let him take all the time they want him too. He'll be permanently in your basement all day every day soon enough.

He said he doesn’t want to take business calculus with accounting, Econ 2010, and a finance class (i can’t remember which finance it is).

So your son struggles with basic algebra. It more sounds like he doesn’t want a “hard” semester

I knew someone who ran out of attempts to pass college algebra at SLU and never got a degree. That kind of blew my mind.
