This title is misleading and specifies in the article. It’s NOT the first Popeye’s on a college campus. It is the first one in the SEC. I went to graduate school at Western Kentucky University and believe it or not they had a Popeye’s on campus until 2017.

Btw that is a view from spruce hall area looking toward campus… Kirby would have blocked the view but now the building in the background is the five ( pentagon cafeteria)

Southeastern had a popeyes in the union. Also sold beer in their stadium before the SEC did. Lion Up

I know this because I have a senior there now and one that graduated last December.
BTW, the meal plans are just another money grab by LSU from what I can see.
