Asian... they look after themselves... supply a few textbooks, some anime and a stack of Ramen... that'll cost you $50 all in... play your cards right and they'll file your taxes for you... no turtle can do that

I had a cat and bird when I was a kid, funniest thing that ever happened was that the bird got out the cage and my cat got ahold of it. Trying to save the bird, my dad threw the cat against the wall to get him to drop it but the bird hit his head on the wall. It killed it, but the way it happened my dad was laughing and I was crying and laughing at the same time.

My older son brought a fake bird in a paper bird cage from daycare one day, and said the bird's name is Goo Gee.
Goo Gee chills on a hook in our living room.. Easiest pet ever.

Get a feral cat. Stays outside and just leave some food out for them. Rat and mouse problems go away.
