If you had any idea how good these wings are, you'd hop the next flight out of Georgia.

5'11. 227 currently. Is it still bad if the 500-1000 calories is heavy on protein?

you are not burning 400-600 calories with 25 min cardio unless you are doing High Intensity workouts, in which case, you should be resting more...

cut out the carbs and beer and you can eat 1200-1400 calories a day and lose weight at a nice clip.

just do a little research. Dont kill yourself by only eating 500-1000 a day. Especially if you are exercising. You need to eat more, just healthier.

How active are you? Desk job or field work? Do you lift heavy weights? Those are more important questions to ask.

I am 5'11 and 210 lbs at around 13%. I lift 4-5 times a week fairly heavy and work at a desk job. I found that 2000 calories is a good weight loss number for me. All the online calculators had me around 2500. My body just doesn't need much.

Desk job but I'm running once a day and kicking it up to twice a day starting today. As soon as I'm done I do a circuit of push ups sit-ups and jumping jacks. 3-4 sets. I'm seeing results but I think all the booze was slowing me down.

If you are an adult male that isn't nearly enough, especially if you active at all.

Do you have access to a gym? You really should be doing some heavy lifting to help preserve lean muscle.

Obviously it varies from person to person but I would think he could start at 2500 and adjust depending on his results.

I mean he's 225lbs, not 350.

I wouldn't go over 1800 or 1900 given his activity level

I said 1200-1400 cause he'd be doubling about what he eats now, and doesn't seem to move around enough to warrant those extra calories.

I haven't plugged his stats into any kind of calculator but I am guessing to lose a pound or two a week most would suggest starting where I said. I am just making a semi-educated guess though.

It works but you initially lose mostly water. I went on the original Adkins Diet with nothing but protein years age. I lost 20 lbs in 2 weeks and plateaued. I then went the total opposite and went on a high fiber diet and lost too much weight. I am now convinced that it is just calorie intake as we have been told forever.

If you are burning 600 calories in 25 minutes, you are doing one hell of a workout. Not many people would be able to keep that up. I'd definitely call it high intensity.
