Well ketosis is the state of your body burning fat for fuel. So if that's your goal then yes it works.

I lost 11 lbs in 6 days on Atkins, the bad part is once you reintroduce carbs it seems like weight comes back even quicker.

If you want to be an unfit bodybuilder type then go for it.

Otherwise, put the work in and actually get fit and not just look fit.

ironic

2 years following a ketogenic way of eating. Sustainable and never felt better. Bloodwork is all in good healthy range.

I think a lot of these people are just trolling.

You know, and I know, this diet works and is sustainable.

We were pretty husky too. Hell, my abs are almost popping out.

Of course it does, but you don't have to go into ketosis to lose weight. Eat less, track your macros and do some cardio.

..and it doesn't even have to be brutal cardio.

Ultimately, the calories matter. If I'm gonna set a 2000 calorie daily target, I personally prefer to eat 2000 high fat /moderate protein/low carb calories as it won't leave you hungry like a higher carb calorie deficit would, as your insulin levels stabilize and the cravings disappear.

Tons of ways to lose weight, but assuming you stay on top of your hydration/electrolytes, I don't think there's an easier way than going very low carb/ketogenic.

Ya! You're the one person out of ten who doesn't say f this after a month. Give yourself a cookie.

Oh wait you can't have a cookie.
