Just giving you a hard time. Glad you changed to a more reasonable approach.

yep, i was alot like her. except im a guy haha. im a short mfr, 5'7... wasnt fat, was only 155-158 at the time. Just held fat in my stomach. I thought like she was just eating barely nothing would work, i lost lbs on the scale but kept the fat in my belly. I educated myself and made better choices. I now eat 1800-2000 cals a day during the week (more on weekends) but eat good fats, carbs and lots of protein mixed with light cardio and heavy weights. Im sitn at 148-150 now but the waiste has shrunk and arms and chest grew!

What's funny is how I've realized I'm bigger. (Well, besides clothes not fitting).. When I used to order a salad or say something about eating healthy, people would immediately say, "Oh my god, why are you eating healthy?! You're a twig. You don't need to lose any weight." I always had remarks from strangers and friends about how tiny I was. Now.. dead silence. I haven't had someone comment on "how little" I am in a looooong time. And when I talk about eating healthier and losing some weight, nobody gawks at me. They even go as far as giving me tips!

I want to point out that this is a photo of the program I'm doing.
Although only 1000 calories, I am not doing a "skip meals" type of deal. It's just small portions of healthy food. You get breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. And snacks are allowed as long as they are green vegetables, a pickle, etc.

Ok not to hijack the thread but some of you fitness people tell me if im doing it right. I'm 28 and not in terrible shape but overweight for sure. I've been doing Cardio(running) and 3-4 sets of push ups sit-ups and jumping jacks once a day. Now I'm bumping up to twice a day on all that. Also about to start hitting up the gym 3x a week for lifting. My diet has been just eating lighter and less often. Now I'm getting a little more structured with it. Cutting out alcohol, already cut out sweets and sugary drinks but really staying on top of that. I'm gonna avoid carbs when possible. Really I'm just going low calorie like 500-1000 a day. I'm not good with organized diets or cooking and meal planning. I eat the same thing pretty much every meal. Something like cereal, tuna, or a can of soup. Maybe a granola bar or banana for breakfast. I've lost 10-15 pounds in 2-3 months but I was still drinking a lot of booze. Hoping I'll see better results without the alcohol. What yall think

Yeah, but I am not disciplined nor creative enough to plan out 1000-calorie-per-day meals that go beyond "an egg" or "chicken and veg"

Say goodbye to any muscle you have if you do this for any extended period of time.
