Desk job but I'm running once a day and kicking it up to twice a day starting today. As soon as I'm done I do a circuit of push ups sit-ups and jumping jacks. 3-4 sets.

the whole thread is a train wreck. it started as an obvious troll thread from an alter with 3 posts, gets a few serious replies and takes off, then comes the conflicting bro advice.

>simple carbs for preworkout y'all
>nah bro, whole grains preworkout
>keto works bro. i'm living proof.
>nuh uh, it's not sustainable. you blow up again when you stop. srs.
>that's because you never stop. it's a lifestyle. it's a hungry lifestyle.
>just watch your macros y'all. only thing that's important is macros. calories in - calories out = simple.
>but wut dem carbs do?
>oh yea and carbs too. very important. check out this chart. you wanna be where the spear guy is.
>only eat carbs early and burn then off during the day. srs.
>well i eat 100g carbs mostly before bed and sleep like a baby. lost 40lbs so far and never felt better.
>y'all i wish chicken would make a board so can sticky all this solid advice we just nailed down.
>GYM BOARD!!1!1
>thanks for the advice u guys

As someone in that weight range there is no way I could lose weight eating 2500 calories a day.

I agree, start a little higher and work down. I started at 2600 and kept going lower until I started seeing consistency. I do a lot more intense workouts than that though.

Intermittent fasting also helps with portions. Get a scale also and put them in a diary.

I hate when I'm the last post when the thread dies. Hopefully this restarts it and I won't be last.

I use myfitness pal and have it set at 1500 but I do not count any of the vegetables I eat, salad ingredients etc so I figure I probably come out close to the 1700-1800 mark.

i dont usually eat breakfast

most days im able to eat lunch at home. 3 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, handful of raw spinach, small avocado

snack is some cashews or an Rx bar

protein shake post workout

dinner is usually steak, chicken, or hamburger patty over some raw spinach with a little oil. 2 servings of veggies, usually broccoli, asparagus, brussell sprouts, or squash.

If i dont have time to cook ill just make eggs again. Sometimes ill make a big frittata and eat on that all way.

You ever make egg muffins Lester? It is easy to make up a big batch and store in a tupperware of ziploc and they keep for a few days.

Word. I load up on carbs at lunch to help blast through the gym and keep it slim to none for dinner that way I don't get an energy spike and snooze like a champ.

i have before, a frittata is the same thing just in a different form. I do it in a cast iron and it comes out like a pizza, and i just cut it into slices. It keeps well and tastes good cold even.

1933 cals/day for this guy. I have the calories set to sedentary levels in MFP, and I don't count exercise calories, either.
