And the meme referring to Trump's "racist" tweets? Totally conservative?

I haven't seen anything like that, at least not from local folks.

The FBI has published a profile of mass shooter/ active shooter:

In the first result I found on google, the FBI differentiates mass shootings from active shootings, and specifically excludes gang & drug related violence. It’s easy to get any demographic you’d like if you exclude large swaths of relevant data.

Not when it kills kids and innocent people. It is all the same, particularly when one instance is used as a political weapon and the other is just an.....unfortunate inconvenience. Hypocrisy is hypocrisy, and the usual group so ready with publicly-displayed thoughts and prayers just can't be bothered to give a shite about one of those.

Who gives a frick about the name of the road?

Because some idiot is trying to shite on a city he knows nothing about... Since moving to Louisville I have noticed people have unnecessarily started a fear factor against downtown. While there is crime, like all urban areas, it's not anywhere like what they will make it seem..... That poster called this area "terrible" which it is far from as Belle pointed out, it's right across from Nulu a very upcoming trendy place with shop, restaurants etc. And on the other end it's next to whiskey row, and to the immediate north of it is the repurposed waterfront park.

Downtown has potential but fear mongering will continue to kill any new development opportunities.

It's not about the street name at all really. It's more about his lack of knowledge

What "numbers that say otherwise"?
If ya got 'em, cite 'em !
Or do you want to discuss definitions?
And if you don't like the FBI definitions, how about P.L. 112-265, passed by Congress?
Is that some liberal source, too?
Based on the FBI definition of "mass shooting", the race of the shooters generally follows the demographic composition of the US, with black Americans somewhat overrepresented and Hispanic/Latinos somewhat underrepresented (relative to 2020's population mix). Of course, males are vastly overrepresented relative to females. LINK

Now, when you use the new definition created by gun control advocates and parroted by the media (4+ shot), that demographic split quickly changes, as you start scooping up a bunch of local gang or drug related shootings.

To be fair, that wouldn't make him racist. That would just make him a miserable sack of shite. As long as he seethes in the corner by himself and doesn't take to the streets, he can hate whomever he chooses.

so, to you, every black person that gets shot is just gang-related street justice?

That's racist as frick.

Doesn’t have to be black, that is just how you chose to separate it. Black/ white. By political party.

You want to categorize everything with nuisance except when it comes to motive & intent, huh ?

Like the guy that just linked the “mass” beach shooting. An altercation occurred & a few kids pulled out a gun. Don’t even know what color they are but it’s not the same as this louisville lunatic

That, folks, is how you manipulate data to get the results you want! It is also how you get millions of idiots like the Progressives that post in this thread.

Classic FBI: remove the most violent demographic from the data so we can prop up the false narrative.

Just amazing work by our government.

Lester has embraced the DNC mantra that "the black man does no wrong."

MetroAtlantaGatorfan posted it on page 9.

Was on the shooter's reddit account. The reddit account just got scrubbed though.

Must be nice being a leftist in today's America. Your ilk will cover for you, even after a mass shooting.

I agree with this perspective. Most of us don't really care if gangbangers shoot each other, as long as it stays in the hood.
When somebody gets blasted at the Mall of Louisiana in the middle of the day, that crosses the threshold, because our loved ones might be out there.

And reading through this thread, this situation seems to be more the "going postal" event, rather than a social situation like the school shooting. I guess if you do want to attach social issues to it, you could say the past few years have been so fricked up that it's pushed everyone to the edge, and we could see people lose their minds more often. But that's not really a gun issue, you could just as easily see someone ram their car into a Rouse's because prices are getting too high; and someone's 'just had enough'.

I don’t hate anyone. You bully & hate people and then act shocked when they do shite like this. The internet has only allowed it to be easier to bully others.

I think the internet and social media is by far the biggest s cl tributes for two reasons

1. The constant bullying etc.

But the biggest is #2

2. It’s made every single individual beleive they should be important and heard on some global scale and be respected on some global scale. And one party is promoting this idea on steroids

The truth is you don’t matter on some global scale and nobody cares about your individuality and before social media and the internet people for the most part understood this. You matter to your family and friends. That’s really it. And that’s really all that should be important But now, one party is screaming how important you should feel etc etc and people lose their minds when they can’t obtain that in real life
