shite, I've driven down some streets in NOLA that I felt uneasy about in the middle of the day in my car.
Lookup the Nola murder map and you'll see some areas you don't want to be caught in.

BR is the same way in some areas. There are neighborhoods I wouldn't want to drive through during the day, much less walk through at 3am

For Lake Charles, it probably be Giovanni St.
Giovanni is kind of an outlier due to its location, lot of really nice places around it along Contraband, all those offshoots off of Lake north of Prien and South of 18th are so strange lol. I'd say Cherry or N. Shattuck would be above that.

Plank Road in Baton Rouge

In LC, you don’t want to be walking around Opelousas street. That’s where Washington Marion is and the alternative school. My mom taught at that school for 6 years and had quite a few good stories. Daylight hours were bad but no way you better hang around there after 6. Flat tire? Call a tow IMMEDIATELY.

I would feel safer walking down MLK in Denham Springs than I would on Eastover Blvd

I concur. For a man who advocated peaceful solutions to serious issues, it seems lost on the locals living near the street named for him.

In patterson people might say mlk st but it’s really not bad. Run down a bit but I’ve never once felt unsafe running/walking down there (Always get waves and smiles). Now night time may be a different story I don’t know.

Central Woods Ave I suppose.

Damn, only three? Let’s say The East, Central City, and Hollygrove. Oh you wanted streets not neighborhoods.

St George. No danger once the fences are up and the machine gun nests fully manned.

Claiborne Ave is complete chaos

Pretty much the same thing I was referring to with my Manchester comment. It's all the same hood. Funny thought these days but I used to live back there
