lol Like the rest of the state is so well run. Come on. The entire state is ranked 48-50 in pretty much every ranking for a reason. I mean, compared to some parishes (Orleans), Jeff is the shining light of competency.

Yes, this was the very top of my priority list. I blew it. The water and gas bills on autodraft. What an idiot I am.
Where I did f up though was not realizing the bank would be locked down. I had online access so I thought it was all good.

Sounds like you were worried about 20 dollars otherwise you’d have just swapped accounts online using the account info on her bill.

False. I attempted to do that before calling. Of course it wasn't possible because her account was "locked" due to the payment not being processed. I tried multiple times to NOT call those morons.
$20 means nothing and is not worth 10 minutes of my time. I actually called because I couldn't even make the payment because the account was locked. I attempted everything online.
Now, I do think it's stupid that they won't waive the fee due to the circumstances but it's the total incompetence and lack of service that annoyed me. I even said in my OP, that if they were nice about it and just said, sorry that's the policy, I would have been fine. Their attitude pissed me off.
