Outlier local success stories like this set back the youth of NBR way more than they uplift them.
So many kids will think they don’t need to learn how to read or finish high school bc they are gonna be the next NBA young boy. And the cycle continues.

This generations Bob Dylan.

Sad that some kids look up to people like this as gods who can do no wrong.

He always uses #batonrouge on instagram so that hashtag is flooded with his shitty posts instead of interesting things that might be happening around the city.

Weirdest thing about him is he’s fricking the “Cash me outside, how bou dah” girl from Dr Phil

Funny you say that. Isn't this dude supposed to be involved with the cash me outside girl?

Sounds like he pulled himself up by bootstraps and made someting of his life when life gave him nothing. You have to commend someone with that kind of tenacity and refusal to quit. The American Dream is not dead after all.

if the American dream is to be a rapper we're all in a horrible nightmare right now

What I want to know is how he was able to blow up so fast considering how much of the last 2 years have been spent in jail or on house arrest, meaning he couldn’t tour to promote. I really want to learn what he did to get so many people streaming his stuff. It’s very rare for an artist to blow up this big this fast. Usually the “overnight success” was actually toiling in obscurity for 5-10 years before making it big (unless it’s a nepotism deal).

Such fine role models for today's youth.

Dude dropped out of school I'd hardly say that was life giving him nothing. Nobody is owed shite anyways. Go make your own way which he has, but let me know if he reaches the age of 30.

It would be suffice to say that any kid with no guidance would purposely opt to go to school. Especially if everyone in that childs family were either dead or gone.
