Louisiana doesn’t share reciprocity with any other state out right. After 5 years, you can apply for Texas, though. Can’t use reciprocity if Texas bar with other states thereafter, though.

No Law Firm will hire someone that hasn't taken the law no matter what the Club of Lawyers say.

Would you even need to ask? Wouldn't the date of admission on the disciplinary counsel's website be a clear give away, since those taking the test would have later admission dates?

The Louisiana Bar Association made a facebook post supporting the decision = yet another instance of the LSBA taking forced dues to formulate a position. The comments on the post are a total Sh--show, with some of the baby lawyers claiming entitlement and "privilege" to now be licensed. It's a total joke, and so is the LSBA. The attorneys need a union to protect them from forced Bar admission and non-agreed licensure compliance issues.

LSBA is a joke and we need to do away with compulsory admission. Their opposition of tort reform efforts was revealing.

Not meaningless at all.
This was done some an entire class of the bar wouldn’t be unemployable.l because they didn’t have an opportunity to take the bar.
As a lawyer, you should realize that’s a pretty notable difference.
You’re asking the court to open the floodgates to out of state attorneys to use this as a “get in free card”
Now I would Argue you deserve special consideration if you’re only moving here to take care of an ailing family member.
However you practice lessons so you understand why different circumstances matter.
