It’s nice you already know school is cancelled. Our district has until 6:00 am each morning to make the call. They haven’t even cancelled my 14 year olds basketball game tomorrow night and it’s a 40 minute drive.

Well I was partially honest; my little girl’s school is already cancelled because they follow the school district. My son goes to Catholic school and they make their own decisions so they haven’t called it yet. However, I’ll make the call myself since we live in the middle of a mountain and ain’t nobody trying to drive to second grade on that. Besides, they already sent AMI home just in case. Can’t they just have a snow day without work?

Some districts in DFW are giving a snow day with no work. Others will require online classes full day with teachers and students. I don’t care what they do as long as they make the call before I have to get up and drag him out of bed. 14 year old boys are assholes in the morning.

Sheeeeet brutha, try living 14 with yo girls. I still remember them bitches. It was every gotdamn morning. Living in DFW at the time, if I saw snow in the morning, I didn’t bother. This was before cell phone alerts and such.

If an attic water heater is installed per the code. A failed pressure relief valve would drain to the outside and cause no water damage.

I legit laughed out loud at this.
My son was easy until 13. He’s still pretty chill but mornings... he’s a beast. And teen boys hair takes longer than girls hair these days. I’m over 7:00 am basketball practice with 5:45 am wake up arguments so he can fix his hair before school.

Snow in Texas with temps in the single digits and teens is almost unheard of. Those temps are almost always accompanied by drier arctic air and calm cloudless skies.
