If you are right near fire department you aren’t in same grid as Marcotte I don’t think.

There are three different feeds into west point at a minimum

my neighbor told me we are... she's been at this complex a lot longer than I have... and this was right after I got back from my evacuation for Laura

511.org is where you can look at the state's entire traffic camera network... so if you want to see what the weather conditions are in... say... Baton Rouge... just go there and pull up one of their cameras

By tomorrow, all you're going to get is a close up view of ice.

Jay Grymes is a Pat Shingleton-level joke. At 8:30 the morning of Gustav’s landfall, he said Baton Rouge wouldnt be affected much. Three and a half hours later, it was tearing up Baton Rouge. I haven’t taken him seriously since.

. That part of west point was probably built 15 years after the homes on Bayou Ceossing. The transmission station that feeds that part of west point is a good bit down Twin Bridges. If it is we were out power about 8 hrs for Laura

We got a little bit of sleet so far here just enough to turn ground white in a few spots.

So far a big nothingburger
