So your suggestion to replace one "comically bad" app is to download 3?
I wouldn't throw RadarScope into the argument you're attempting to make.

The only argument I'm making is how comical it is to call one app bad, only to suggest replacing it with 3 apps. If it takes 3 to replace the 1, then it must not have been that bad.
It's really more about the way he worded it than anything. I doubt he actually meant you need all 3 to replace AccuWeather.

I am supposed to be flying out of N.O. To Phoenix Monday morning at 8. I’m not worried about departing New Orleans, I am concerned about that layover in Dallas. How screwed is my flight?

So your argument is that if there are at least three accurate weather reporting apps capable of replacing one that is historically not accurate at all, one might as well just keep the historically inaccurate app?

Dallas will be done with any frozen precipitation by monday am. The state of the runways will be a different story.

I get what you're saying. Generally speaking, though, if a company/app is in the business of giving 90+ day forecasts, that company/app should face alot of skepticism.

So Is BR getting snow or ice. Cuz frick an ice storm. When I lived in Missouri we had ice storms all the time. Nothing worse than just an inch of ice on everything.

If all 3 are accurate, why wouldn't just one do to replace the inaccurate one?
You do realize he said "A, B, AND C", right? Not "or", "and".

Could go either way, honestly. BR is right on the line where either ice or snow could happen.

To be fair, all three can do different things.

Gross LOL. So freezing rain then snow. It’ll never melt.
Posted on 2/13/21 at 1:58 pm to tigafan4life
It’s not too often you see a forecast with a 100% chance of snow two days before in Louisiana like we have up here. Usually we’re waiting until the hours before to see if it sets up right.

And I agree. But again, I'm not defending AW so much as ribbing bucknuts for a seemingly poorly worded recommendation. All 3 of those apps are great, but his wording makes it sound like it takes all 3 to replace AW, which I just found comical since he called AW "comically bad".
I use wunderground currently, and find it much better than AW.

It’s like a hurricane they never know where the weather is going to it hits. Lol
