It seems like a no brainer to legalize marijuana but you know, it’s basically as bad as crack. I thought with a Democrat, “progressive” governor it would be a little easier, but he has no interest in doing anything but complain about how destitute our economy is. He doesn’t actually want to fix it.

Agreed... I really didn't get reminded of the shitty roads until I got off of 49, onto 190. I-12 is awful too.

It's bad I agree, but there are a lot of states with horrible roads. Infrastructure in the US is in bad need of an upgrade.

Time in the saddle in this state has shown one thing to me that is abundantly clear, and that’s you can give them 100 percent of your income and it still won’t make its way to the roads. The problem isn’t taxing. BRoken is taxed high as a kite as it is, and look at it and tell me it’s up to speed on anything infrastructure wise. It’s not the lack of money. It’s the fiscal irresponsibility with that money on a city and state level. Hunting, fishing, drinking, red beans and rice and sports are just more important than the actual condition of the state, and they know they can pacify your arse with it and you won’t bitch about it. Matter of fact, you’ll even defend the indefensible like someone’s talking bad about your mom and them. Hell, just take a look at the mounds of litter in the side of our roads and interstates and it says all you need to know about what the people think of their roads and state even. They couldn’t give two shits about it. They just don’t want you to say anything about it, as if if we don’t say anything, maybe nobody will notice it when driving through.

Most studies I've found put Louisiana about midway in road quality . All of the show the worst roads are in the northeast. Go find a farm animal to mate with hillbilly.

Is it true that you can get cocktails through drive throughs? I went to LSU my freshman year and didn't see any.
