How old, and I genuinely hope he has only mild symptoms or none at all

My daughter just got over it. She got a normal PCR test and a rapid test in the same day.

PCR came back negative and the rapid test was positive.

She definitely had it though. She didn't enjoy it but it wasn't too bad for her and was mostly back to normal in 3 days.

19.

Mild symptoms. Slight headache and runny nose.

No fever or cough/shortness of breath.

Rapid test after he thought he was losing his sense of taste.

Same.

Had a regular test at LSU last Sunday after a possible exposure (results Tuesday night) - negative.

Started with a headache yesterday. Never gets headaches, but he had his face in a computer screen for 2 straight days.

That's basically what mine had. Also 19. Definitely lost taste and smell and overall very lethargic for about 3 days. Headaches and congestion too.

Each day the symptoms improved a little and after 3 days she felt mostly back to normal. Completely back to normal after 5.

Why did he test after only a “possible” exposure?

His job required it

His job requires their employees to test even if they haven’t been around someone who tested positive?

The person tested positive.

He didn't necessarily meet the CDC guidelines for "exposure" but tested out of an abundance of caution

We're going to hit a wall of 300 or 400 new cases everyday because almost half of the people aren't adhering to the guidelines. I can't tell you how many smaller stores I walk in to and no one is wearing a mask and the employees are wearing them around their neck. I want some football damnit.

Listen here dumb frick, we already tried that and it didn't work, learn from the past you stupid count. As soon as we open things up you morons are gonna go have 100 people gatherings and we have to start back from square one again. This is kind of like when the kids want to go run outside after a hurricane and the parents have to say whoa kids, just wait a bit. Except you idiots are adults which makes this even more embarrassing. This virus has killed more US citizens than WW1 did. If you think this is a charade I hope your entire family gets it.

I’m curious...how many students do you think are in schools at the moment? Spoiler alert, a shite ton more than 100. We will see a spike soon, but it won’t be due to 100 people gatherings. Also, cases might rise, but deaths won’t because younger people will be the majority of the new cases.
