Well, your master JBE cares.

We have to come together and reject the entire premise that they have a right to shut down society to protect us.

It can only be allowed immediately before and after acutely bad disasters, and it can't apply to relatively undamaged areas.

They introduced this idea of prolonged shutdowns, and we have to be rid of it.

If so, then its natural to expect bumps in new cases and deaths on Mondays and Wednesdays.

LDH just reported that the "uptick" in today's cases/tests is due to some delayed reporting from a few labs again.

Even with it...nothing changed.

Yeah, new cases has always been the least accurate indicator of this thing.

Who gives a frick about a 2nd wave? The hospitals never got overwhelmed and no one ever ran out of ventilators.

That narrative ended long ago

Now it is about getting deaths and cases down to 0

Test dump

They delayed it a day because there is a mole on the OT from LDH that saw you were onto their Tuesday dump

No doubt. Looks like the second most tests reported in one day since this all started.

Today's posted results show that it took over 16 tests to find 1 positive case.

Edit to add:

Do you think we'll ever start getting time data for all the tests/deaths (date of test/death revealed today but dates back XX days)? Maybe they have it somewhere.

There’s fixing to be a huge surge in cases once all prison & nursing home asymptomatic positive results come in

which is why hospitalizations is the only metric to pay attention to. Hell, they can stop reporting vents as well. All those do is delay death for a bit.

I wish they would report #’s of recoveries that were on a vent
I know a guy through work that spent 6 weeks on a vent & is back home now (NY)

Get a press pass to go ask that question. Or forward it to whoever is supposed to be asking the questions.

“The Louisiana Department of Health explained how 317 of these cases came from labs that are new to reporting. These labs previously have not reported and are now reporting all their historic lab results electronically.”

This will be interesting....... A restaurant can now have a 25% capacity inside. Ok fine ,,,,, BUT the people standing in line outside are tired of waiting . Now..... do they put a certain time period for you to get your order and eat it and leave???? I mean what if I want to countinue to stay in my spot at table for a bit after we eat, are they gonna tell me I have to leave ???????

I wouldn't be surprised. At 25% capacity, they will need to turn tables quickly to keep in the black (if even possible).
