I agree completely. But that’s not the main concern of the Democrats. They want as little movement as possible until after the election. That’ll force everyone to have to mail in vote.
Better to control the election outcome that way.

I’m not saying that it will. I’m referring to the overall temperature of the situation. You are starting to see a push for this country wide, and it will rev up significantly in the coming days and week.

Not sure anyone cares, but on the 21st deaths were reported at 60, actual deaths for that day started at 17 and have increased to 22 today.
The 20th death count increased from 28 to 31 today. The 22nd increased from 8 to 19 overnight.
Today they only reported 2 deaths from the last 24hrs.

But Our Lady of the Lake is at capacity and turning away non-emergency people... as of yesterday......

I disagree. Layoffs are starting to hit the white collar jobs. When the government class starts getting furloughed and laid off, then some people will wake up and realize what a monumental mistake has been made. It was all peachy when the hourly workers got sent home.

This is confusing to me unless OLOL has the vast majority of COVID patients in the region. According to the DHH website, hospitalization peaked in the Baton Rouge Region on April 23 with 345 patients. Today, there is 219.

They changed from they are full to they don't have the staff.
Fwiw, my ex works there, worked the covid units during the first peak, isn't working any OT during this peak, not even sure she was moved to coivd patients

They are going back and refining their counts after the fact.

I would think that it could be a result of multiple passes being made with various methods to cull the duplicates.

The only reason I can see for his tirade is to force private schools to not reopen on time.
All school plans are based on our current phase. If he drops us to a modified phase 1 for a few weeks then he can essentially stop in-person school until he decides to move back to phase 2.
Quick way to create more economic strife and push us closer to the brink because you know...election year and orange man bad.

We can assume all we want, but we know for a fact from the LDH that there are duplicates being posted in the daily count. Yet JBE is yelling at us because he is getting called out on it. I hate being lied to, and he has consistently lied to Louisiana throughout this.
