If y’all wore your mask, these numbers wouldn’t be so high and would start trending down and everyone can go to the gym.

Where did you get your inspection done? I don’t doubt it if it was some mom and pop run place.

It’s just ignorant to not wear a mask at this point if you’re going inside a business.

Cases, positivity %, hospitalizations, vents all showing slowing velocity trends. Masks may be having some effect as well as the shutdown of bars

Like I said before they timed their mask mandate perfectly when they knew the numbers were going to drop anyway. I don’t have a problem with masks and I wear one myself but there is little evidence this plateauing has anything to do with masks.

It’s what has happened in every area regardless of mandates. People continued to do what they were doing before and after the “mandate”

Yeah I’m not going to out a company
Everyone was socially distanced
It’s too fricking hot working on cars in a warehouse to wear a mask & customers waited outdoors

The new talking point and justification for further actions will be:

“Hospital capacity has increased and now we are worried we could not handle a surge or a spike so I am taking the following actions”

Yep.
The weekend before last we hit 98 here with a heat index of 116 and the Rouses by me had their grocery cart pushers whho were outside on the black top wearing mask.

Total lack of common sense.

I’ve been plenty of places not enforcing too.

Hell, I was in a gas station the other day and was the only one wearing a mask. That included the employees.

Of course you can always find some places and people that aren't wearing mask. I went fishing down along the coast last weekend and both places we stopped on the way down and back were not requesting that customers wear mask and neither were the employees.

LDH updated their post to 1737 new cases. Guess they got a memo that it was too low.

There’s one in Lafayette too...funny thing is it’s where all the doctors shop.
