As they backdate the previous numbers fall. The 10.33 that was reported will probably be below 10% in a week or two.

LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A district court judge has signed a ruling prohibiting Governor John Bel Edwards and his state agencies from taking any further action against the Firehouse BBQ restaurant until a hearing the week of Aug. 17.
The owners of the Livingston Parish business were served with a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) Monday, Aug. 10 after repeatedly refusing to comply with the governor’s COVID-19 mask mandate. The owners do not require their employees or customers to wear masks inside the restaurant, directly defying the governor’s orders.
A hearing on the restraining order is set for Tuesday, Aug. 18.
The same judge who is scheduled to preside over that hearing, District Judge Brian Abels, has now issued an order that says the State of Louisiana is prohibited from “taking any further action” against the restaurant prior to next week’s hearing.
Abels signed the order Wednesday, Aug. 12, according to court documents.

Apparently it is personnel. Can only speak for a couple hospitals, but it is true. Some nurses are turning down a serious amount of money to work OT just because they are tired of it.

Aren't most of the test turned in daily from the previous week? I know there are exceptions with dumps but they haven't done many of those lately.

Don't know, but making broad claims like several hospitals have no ICU beds available is about as vague as it gets. I can't believe no one in the media has pushed him on this shite.

.@LouisianaGov showed data on death demographics and says while the percentages have evened out on the statewide level, there are still racial disparities that exist on a regional level in areas of the state. @FOX8NOLA

Not sure how backlogged the tests are at this point. I haven't been following it as close. Last week some tests were still 21 days out.

We were quoted 5-7 day turnaround today for a resident in hospital in LCH. Crazy it’s still taking that long, especially for an admit.

Yes and no.
Blacks are still a smaller proportion of the state's population. So, disproportionate deaths compared to whites if looked at that way.
They were breaking down between nursing homes and in the community as well.
Though, I imagine if you examined said communities, cities, or Parishes in which these deaths occur, proportions might line up better.
