Not many additional tests. Increase in deaths is troubling. I wonder if the decrease on venilators is attributable to deaths.

You understand that this means a significant amount of people went on the vent because it didn’t drop proportional with deaths right?
You don’t understand that it means a lower number required a vent because, after accounting for those who were removed due to death or resolution of symptoms, there were still less vents used.

That is a positive stat. Stop trying to make it negative.

I understand your point but if we lived life like normal those numbers would be way worse.

I don’t think trying it’s a big flex on the governor if 68 people died and then 64 people replaced them on the vent but I guess people will use anything to advance their agenda.

Why I don't understand is why you dummies seem to think Edwards should wait until he's at near capacity to start asking for more vents. It's called preparation in case things take a bad turn. What's also mystifying is how you dummies think Edwards is just doing this to... what... intentionally sabotage the economy or piss off Republicans or I don't know what. Where's the logic? You're just looking for any angle to bitch about political shite.

Quit looking at the cases. They have tested 1.2% of the population and most of those were people who presented symptoms.

11,000,000 new jobless claims since this all started. Louisiana lead the pack. Oil is down to $20 bbl. This is not going to be good...…..

6555 is the number of "all beds" that the covid 19 estimator says Louisiana would need for today ... actual beds used as of LDH numbers is 1803.

It’s simple, JBE’s vent projections is and were wrong

That just the truth. Simple facts are simple facts

That isn’t being political in the slightest

Yep. You posterized JBE for being over prepared.

He doesn't need to wait BUT he doesn't need to ask for 10s of thousands either.

ICU, Ventilators, and Deaths all fell within the projected range for today.

Beds, ICUs, and vents models have not been updated since before the lockdown went into effect.

Deaths were updated on April 1st which is why it is a tighter range.
