Not really a big deal. Doctors are likely admitting people they would've told to go home and we are still down over 200 from the peak a little over a week ago.

That's what I'm thinking. If other areas of hospitals are closed that means no revenue -- but they're getting paid nicely from covid dx I believe. SO if they're "on the fence" and have the space and staff why not admit is maybe what they're thinking? (I Know that sounds nuts but ..)

So we have been trending down since April 2 in Deaths, Test, % Positive test, Hospitalizations, and Ventilators.

18 DAYS. Why isn't our Governor giving us direction to open everything up?

Oh and how do we have 1043% positive test today?

595 new positives/cases with only 57 tests being reported.

The state hasn't provided the updated commercial test numbers for today.

Because he's and all testing hasn't been reported per LDH (per TigersSEC2010)

What's scary are the people who are carriers who are not symptomatic. I know someone who was tested on Friday and is positive with zero symptoms. Her sibling was diagnosed last week (dog sick). This person and her family were with the sibling about 2 weeks ago, so their family doctor had them all tested. This person and her teen son both tested positive with no symptoms. The other two members of her family were negative.

Not complaining, but can you graph these by 14 day averages since that's apparently going to be the bench mark?

I can’t even talk about how scary it is to see leaders fighting to open Louisiana by May 1. It’s beyond disappointing, it shows a complete disregard for evidence based practice and a refusal to make the HARD decisions and work for better. It is unethical, it is deadly, it is gross. It would NOT be on the table if it wasn’t the black Community targeted the hardest. Period.

This should fire things up.

what's scary is asymptomatic carriers

Why is this scary?
It means vast majority infected don't even feel bad.
More ppl infected puts us closer to herd immunity.

EBR coroner is reporting 98 deaths per the advocate. LDH site still at 72 for EBR. Maybe a shock to some tomorrow.

It's a troll by me but it reflects the stupidity and fear-mongering of some. Hard to believe that people actually listen to such bozos.

So the virus is racist? If the black community weren’t having block parties everyday then maybe they wouldn’t be catching it

When do you think we should open up?
