Steady increase in hospitalizations and decrease in ventilation is great news. Could this be expanded use of the Trump Cure?

I think that is a little high. I think it's more like 40%-60% based on what I've read, but I don't have a link to back that up at the moment.

That's probably a little high. I'd be 60% is more accurate.

If the tests have been backlogged, many who ended up in a hospital or a vent from these positives were probably already hospitalized or on a vent before their positive tests were released today.

10-14 days is what time "typical" is for vent patients from others in this thread who are in hospitals.

Haven't read through yet, but not as apocalyptic as it appears
The last 4 days... 23,215 new tests completed and 5,610 new positives
So 45% of total tests were done in the last 4 days and 65% of new cases
Basically, if you test everyone, your number will skyrocket, but then from there it should curve off if those positives stay quarantined
Still 10 days or so from a potential level off

It is statistically almost a flatline for the last five days plus more evidence that the 54 n Monday was an anomaly. I won't read too much into it, but it is good news.

According to LDH site, Looks like LA has 1,845 total ventilators. 973 (53%) are currently in use.
