Deaths suck but we are continuing our downward trend in hospital resources. Huge.

Deaths + 129 (1013)

That's enough deaths for Honor Code to cancel LSU football until 2021

Decrease of hospitalizations make me feel better .... assuming the decrease isn’t due to deaths

The difference in the death numbers and all of the others is that death does not reflect current spread rates. Which is why I am sort of able to look at that figure separately from all of the others regarding overall trend.

Deaths are likely reflective of the spread as it was 10 days or so ago, I would think.

Sadly, I'm afraid the drop of patients on ventilators may sync with that death spike as well.

Deaths are from farther back than that. More like 21 days ago, some even longer than that

The LDH site looks like it has a new chart --- under the state map click the right arrow to get to the "Covid Hospitalizations by Day" chart. Is that new?

It shows Covid hospitalizations/Covid patients on vents.

This may have been answered previously, but why don't the EBR Coroner's death numbers and the LDH death numbers match up?

Today, 65 vs 58

You're gonna see a huge spike in deaths in the coming weeks if JBE doesn't get those 5000 ventilators he's asking for.

Yeah I've looked a good bit as I'm looking for nursing home info on Mondays and Wednesdays and I'm 90% sure this wasn't there .. although I'm the one who put + 157 hospital admits and not - 157 so ... I was really questioning myself.

I like being able to see the covid patients/covid vent patients.
