Alabama is still going forward with the July 28-29th date, but they have an alternate date of September 30th - October 1st if anyone wants to delay.

No new lawyers = less competition for JBE's trial lawyer friends.
I don't see why they can't just do the exam, in groups of 40, all over the state. Pay some college professors a couple of days to serve as proctors. Have a site at every university in the state if needed. Or multiple sites at each university.

Holy frick I can't imagine studying your arse off for 3 years, paying tens of thousands in tuition, then spending an additional 3 months studying daily for the bar exam...just to be told you can't sit for it.
Law students are already mentally unstable because of the stress, surprised they haven't started burning shite down.

As someone who is about to take the bar exam, no one wants to wear a mask for the entire exam. That would be extremely distracting.

Well, it means they'll either delay until September or October like other states or enact a diploma privilege.

i am going to guess 1 of 2 things
1. we're about to have another shut down and LASC has been ahead of the curve on them
2. they had major security/administration issues with the online testing
