Someone explain this to me:

USC isn’t letting her in still? Something seems fishy to me.

I'm almost positive this isn't the Bahamas.
I don't think any of the Bahamian islands are this mountainous. The Caribbean islands are more this way.

It's more of a status issue. Going to USC (or UCLA) is a status symbol in LA. It's 100% about the image of the family.
This girl wouldn't last a day in the film school. I'm sure she was a comm major. Comm was full of girls like this.
