i know cops who have been nearly killed on duty by criminal assholes. does that give me a right to go loot and seek vengeance on any thug looking person on the street?

What about war? Is it ok to kill people and destroy property as long as you declare war first? Does it matter who is "right"?

The problem is, you are picking a fight with an entity (the system) you have no chance with.

You need allies.

Burning down businesses and schools dont net you those allies.

How, exactly, are the people looting not being "treated fairly"?

The only person that was actually treated unfairly in all of this is dead.

So you are saying you should loot and burn your city down because you are mad?
Nope. I do not condone it at all. I'm just saying that I understand it.

You have also probably not had to spend your entire life worried that something like this might happen to you or someone you love.

It's hard to put yourself in the mind of someone who has been pushed over the edge if you've never been there yourself.

Hm. Tell me, what options do people have when their pleas for justice go ignored?
You seem to be confusing here.

you claim no law could change this, and then you claim they are being "ignored". but how would you define them being ignored as opposed to listened to, if laws wouldn't work?

How would we know if they were being listened to?

What is the evidence that justice won't happen in this case?
It's pretty clear that this isn't just about justice in this particular case. It's not even about justice in all the cases. It's about a culture of treating people a certain way. Lifetimes of this.

So Cops kill more white people than black people. Why Is there a notion that the cops are against blacks only?

OK... So the next time a white person is killed by a black person, the people have the right to be pissed and destroy stuff??????

If that were the case... We would be having riots everyday...….

No.

But I also don't have a lifetime of pent up anger.

Yeah but a ton of the people leading this shite don't care about the victim or even police brutality in general.

You have the sheep who follow - These are the trash looters and other unthinking types who don't even pretend to care about most social justice aims. They just want free stuff or to be part of a scene.

You have the bleeding hearts - these are those who feel actual frustration over the situation or, often, pathetic self-hating white kids who try and make up for being white and weak by trying to be a SJW ally. These are the people your argument (you need allies) should matter to.

Then you have the leaders and manipulators - Some are grifters and pimps, like Jesse and Al. Others are just deconstructionist progressives who could give two fricks about justice but want to normalize extremist and radical anti-authority behaviors because their end goal is to tear the whole thing down. What's notable is that this type is probably in the ear of the bleeding hearts telling them it's useless to appeal to businesses/politicians/etc.

I think that you honestly believe this.

You just don't realize that this belief is the root of the problem.

So, Target and several other businesses DO NOT rebuild and move to better/safer locations...nice 'work' by the MORONS !
Next, they will complain of being food deserts and such, demanding they be brought fresh vegetables...which they don't eat..LOL

Pent up anger is a premise I can go with.

But how much of that is actually the product of negative interactions with police? Not much.

White cops kill maybe less than 10 black men without proper cause in this country every year.

Black men kill about 10,000 other black men and women violently in this country every year.

What lifetime of fear and tragic culture are you pointing a finger at?

There's nothing in your statement I disagree with.

The Twitterati is trying to build this up as some revolution akin to The American Revolution.

The AA population is right around 18% (I need to fact check that). A race war is not what's best for America obviously. We need to figure this shite out.
