Does the description of the shooter stay the same? Have they checked ballistics to see if any of the bullets were shot from the same gun? Has anyone given a description of the vehicle or vehicles? What time are the shootings taking place?

Everybody driving through New Orleans East

For real. Took the family to Florida for vacation in July. I seriously considered taking the Causeway to I-12 to avoid going through NO East. Ultimately decided that heading through that area of town at 6-6:30am was probably the safest time because the degenerates were most likely done for the night. The road was pretty much empty on a Saturday morning. But, I've never driven faster on a stretch of interstate in my life. Hell, we all know that there aren't any cops patrolling that stretch.

When there is a description

Year or so ago was the only time I heard this mentioned. Various caliber, all seemed to be handguns.

Has anyone given a description of the vehicle or vehicles?

Various when given

What time are the shootings taking place?

All times

Given the number of empty/abandoned buildings overlooking the interstate this is likely less than random targeting.

Then again who knows, the skill set and practice required to engage a moving target from a static position likely FAR exceeds the mental capacity of these cowardly thugs.

How the mayor or police chief ever discussed these incidents in public? If not, I am guessing they have figured out that these are random gang initiation shootings and they don't think they can stop them...

How could this NOT be solved? It's happened all on the same stretch.

You give the NOLA police force way too much credit

I guarantee the vehicle has one of those flappy tags from some shitty used car dealer on the back.

Definitely possible to be some type of serial shooter but still think most of these are beef or hits that occur on the interstate because of any easy escape. Or an innocent bystander hit from the above occurring. How many of these victims were white? If it was completely random, the demographics of the victims would show that. Seems to be almost always be young black males or females.

As far as I know, they try to keep a tight lid on the interstate shootings. They refuse to talk about details

Very suspect

Unless the shooter is not a cowardly, impulsive thug, but a highly trained, skilled sniper.

Makes a person wonder if there are any other known cities with similar style shootings.

We go that way often to drop the dogs off at the BIL if we aren't boarding. Find it only adds about 15-20 minutes to the drive in you live West of the Causeway.

This is why it can't be random. Some good ole boy or his wife going to Slidell would have been shot at some point.

The few that fit the regular white man/woman have all said they were crossfire from rolling shootouts.
