GME puts and dared Schwab to close out the position.

Wonder what I would do if 1.2 mil showed up in my account can’t say I wouldn’t take it out and lawyer up and see if I could play my cards on it.

When your life is in danger and you dial 911.... that’s who is on the other end. Pretty scary to think about

I had no idea you could get a Hyundai that has $22k worth of additional options.

With my low comprehension skills, and drunkenness 1) why was money deposited? 2) why is corporate mistake her problem?

I’ll hang up and listen.

Some money was supposed to be deposited, just not 1.2 million.

And it's her problem because the law is always going to favor the money here. They are the ones who donate and get lawmakers elected, not dispatchers.

I think she should have hopped a plane like someone else said and said frick off.

Because the money was not hers. We’re talking about a monetary sum over a million dollars not a few hundred. The account rep gave Spadoni chance after chance to return the money, yet Spadoni chose to be a sleazebag about it and evade.

Just because a mistake was made, doesn’t mean she gets a free pass on stealing $1.2 million. It’s illogical and absurd to think otherwise.

The best bet would be to invest it immediately in something with significant volatility, and then sell it after a week (or two) and keep the profit, or say you can't return the full amount because your positions lost value

That is a great idea. Actually really is . My luck market would tank for the 3 days i invested in bitcoin before they busted me

What do they mean it's not her money, it was in her account!!!! She should have moved the money immediately AND caught a flight to Puerto Rico . Called a bank in Antigua, opened up an account there and moved to a house on the island and from there caught a local flight to Trinidad, changed her name and become the local queenie. Schwab would never find her.

What kind of prison sentence would she be looking at if she kept all the money? I know they recovered 75% of it but would kind of bid would you do for 1.2 million?

That lady makes maybe $30k a year.
1.2 m
She had it out. Should have bought bitcoin with it and left the United States. She could live her life in a 3rd world African country like a queen.

Quick thinking to move to money out of her account right away.

Interesting that went in 1 day.

I assume she moved it out of a Schwab account to another bank, which usually would take more than 1 day for that amount of money. I guess it was already flagged for transfer though.

If she was smart, she should have invested in some fund. They may have let her keep any earnings
