Yeah quality is what makes his collection so ridiculous. He only buys the best.

So many sets look similar... and Wagner and Plank were stars so they made it into a lot of sets. Send me all the pictures you want. I love looking at old cardboard.

I'm at work and haven't read through the whole thread yet. My uncle has a collection and might be interested if you haven't found anyone yet.

Worth little. But, do you really want to unload the rest of your collection for a car? If you really have items like Joe Jackson in good condition, you're making a bad decision. Cars are one of the worst things to blow money on. I did it as a twenty-something and I'm over it. I buy well below my means. It's just pissing money away and no matter what you buy, it eventually becomes, just your car.

I'm kind of surprised by this also. I'd just hang onto my cards, they're fine pieces of history. Why not just finance a car?

I don't think he's a troll. I'm pretty sure I've talked to him about cards before. He sent me a couple more pics of some Kotton tobacco cards... it looks like he has some nice stuff.

Just cards. Most of my collection is baseball but I do have some non-sports sets also. Stuff like fish, cars, and a set of WWI pictures that I'm about 75-80% done with.
1915 T121 Sweet Caporal Cigarettes WWI Scenes. There are 250 cards. They were made from photographs taken by American photographer before the US joined the war and depict both sides. This is my favorite non-sport set.
1910 T58 Fish Series... 50 cards.
I have a few others of various subjects. These just show some examples.
