This will be key imo. Taking his time and not rushing could make several thousand dollars worth of difference.

what are your prized cards terd?
I have most all of the big names... Ruth, Cobb, Wagner, Young. My favorites are cards that were issued by companies in Louisiana in the 1910s-30s.
I have a card from the 20s with a Cafe Du Monde ad on the back. It's 1 of 3 known in existence with that ad back.

Clearly you've read the entire thread.

I got a kick out of the posters who didn't read the thread and made comments like that.
Chris made sure to exhibit his typical dumbassery by asking that they were "pre 1980".

Most people think vintage means pre-1980. Vintage collectors consider pre-World War II as vintage.

Unless you have babe ruth's rookie in mint condition, you might not get very much. Seriously, when you say vintage you are talking about pre 1980s right?

Right but the era of the cards OP was talking about had already been addressed.

I've had someone offer $1700 for that one. The card and player aren't rare but the back ad is 1 of 3 known. There are lots of other New Orleans issues that are easier to find though.
