In that space, I'd add the X5 and also the Lexus.
Do you need 3 rows?

Comfort, reliability, and quality sound systems would be my priorities.
Lexus RX350h with the Mark Levinson sound system is hard to beat with those 3 metrics at the top of the list.

In that size, I'd look at the Toyota Highlander hybrid. Neighbor has a regular gas one, and it's very comfortable with plenty of usable space. I like the nightshade package you can get with them as well.
ETA: Totally glassed over the sound system requirement. You'd have to go with the Limited trim level at least for the 11 speaker JBL system.

Lincoln nautilus or aviator
My mother (no pics) recently got a nautilus and has said nothing but great things about it. I'm very cautious about American cars, but it hasn't had any issues so far.

Hyundai and Kia are disposable cars.
Don't they both have a 100,000 mile warranty?
Or did they stop doing that at some point?

Why do you need an SUV for a daily driver? Get something with good gas mileage.

Why does he need a car period? Motorcycles get much better mileage.

Hyundai Palisade >>> KIA Teluride
We just bought a 2024 Hyundai Palisade Limited after test driving both. The Palisade is head & shoulders above the Teluride.

Given that you're looking for luxury and tech, Aviator is a great choice, but I'd check out the X5 with the 6.
Lexus might be too small in the rear.
